There’s a moment each year when you know spring has returned. The last of the citrus still hanging on the trees glows against new buds just bursting into life, and jasmine spills over the garden, filling the air with its unmistakable fragrance - spring! Evenings take on a different rhythm too - the first fireflies begin to flicker at dusk and this year there are SO many, the hum of crickets and frogs grows louder, and it feels as though the whole landscape around us has woken ready for summer.

If you’ve noticed we’ve been a little quieter than usual online, it’s because our family-run haven has been in the thick of one of its biggest chapters yet. Running a boutique business is a true labour of love - and sometimes love demands all your hands, heart, and hours. While The Beach Havens has remained close to us, much of our energy these past months has gone into a deeply personal project: preparing our beloved Bellingen House to share with the world.

Like every property we create, Bellingen House is more than just bricks and timber - it is the result of hand-designed vision, craftsmanship, and countless hours of care poured in by the two of us. Each detail has been thoughtfully considered, each element crafted to ensure the home feels unique, timeless, and alive. Our projects are, in every sense, one-of-a-kind.

And so, it is with both pride and affection that we now offer Bellingen House for its next custodians.
